Espacio Cripto and the Starknet Foundation are joining forces to empower the founders who will lead this transformation, accelerating startup growth and building the future of decentralized technology in Latam.
To fuel this vision, we are creating a Startup House in Monterrey, where founders will have the chance to collaborate, build, and access Starknet's resources in a hands-on, immersive environment. Targeted grants will be awarded to high-potential startups, while founders gain access to mentorship, technical resources, and VCs to help turn their ideas into reality.
This Request for Founders is a call to those who see potential where others see problems.

I can confidently say that crypto isn't just another tech wave. It's a rebellion against broken systems, a reimagining of how value moves, how communities coordinate, and how power is distributed. It's a chance to build technology that doesn't ask for permission and doesn't care where you're from.

And right now, the timing couldn’t be better.
We’re still early. While there are over 860 million crypto users worldwide, crypto accounts for just 0.5% of global wealth, with its market cap standing at $2.86T. Users have found real use cases in crypto and now they're incentivized to use the apps we build.
Regulation is taking shape. The U.S. government currently holds around 200,000 BTC ($17B) and has established a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve to manage and expand these holdings. They're treating it as a national priority with the current administration naming a Crypto Czar. Globally, governments hold approximately 471,000 BTC ($41B). Legislative efforts like the STABLE Act are being introduced to regulate stablecoins. Clear and positive regulatory frameworks mean innovation will be left to roam free.
Capital is flowing. Bitcoin ETFs have amassed $835B in cumulative trading volume and $100B in AUM since they went live in Jan 2024. VC investment in crypto startups totaled $11.5B over 2153 deals in 2024. The money has arrived and institutions want a share of what you’re building. Today, we're offering $25,000 grants to fuel innovation before diluting your company.
